The Bear Inn in Hodnet, near Market Drayton, has long been a fixture in the area, dating back to its days as a coaching inn where travellers could rest and eat. Tom Heber-Percy and the Hodnet estate wanted to revitalise this notion for the present era, bringing it back into the community.
After a lengthy time spent with its doors shut during a more than £2 million refurbishment, The Bear in Hodnet finally opened up welcomed locals and visitors alike last week (29/07).
Following the transformation, the Inn now boasts twelve luxury bedrooms including three duplex suites, each uniquely designed and furnished by interior design specialists, Octavia Dickinson. Working for long standing local client Hodnet Estates, our team completed the full design & installation of the following:

- Fire Alarm
- CCTV System
- Structured Cabling Installation
- Data Networking Package
- Complete AV System Installation
- Testing & Inspection
The project was carried out within budget with a very successful handover. Working in conjunction with previous designers Lister Carter and the specialist interior designer Octavia Dickinson we were able to deliver this stunning boutique hotel/restaurant package.
