We’re excited to reveal our work in the brand new Le Bistrot Pierre in Birmingham. The project is our 5th for the French restaurant group and they chose a Grade II listed building, Waterside House for their first venue in Birmingham on the city’s bustling canal side near Broad Street.
The Gas Street building was formerly the head office of the Worcester and Birmingham Canal Company and was constructed in the early 19th century.
The restaurant group has carried out a total renovation of the existing building using exposed brickwork and a contemporary interior which works with the age and style of the building. A glazed dining area adds a touch of elegance to the dining experience.
The interior of the restaurant features some stunning and unique lighting, including hand-made chandeliers and hand spun glass pendants. Unique, angled spot lighting is used to show off the restaurants distinctive interior. Filament lamps are also used to add a vintage feel.
Barlows technicians have completed a full electrical installation, addressable fire alarm system, emergency lighting and data installation.
We think the finished result is outstanding, well done to all of the team involved in this project.
