PA Testing Engineer | Malpas, Cheshire
We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a PA Testing Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for performing electrical testing and inspection of portable appliances at a variety of client sites. We are willing to provide training to the successful candidate to obtain City & Guilds 2377-77 qualification.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical testing and inspection of portable appliances in accordance with MES standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service at all times
- Manage workload planning in an effective manner to maximize the number of jobs per day
- Ensure all work is carried out efficiently, accurately and safely
- Maintain accurate records of all testing and inspections carried out
- Liaise with office-based staff to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed in a timely manner
- Ensure all equipment provided is maintained in good working order
Requirements:
- Hold City & Guilds 2377 in portable appliance testing (training to gain this qualification will be provided if necessary)
- Demonstrable working knowledge and track record of portable appliance testing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good interpersonal skills
- PC literate
- Strong customer/client-focused attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Keen eye for attention to detail
- Valid UK driving license
