Stockport’s Produce Hall recently opened it’s doors again but this time as a food hall. Housed in the Grade II listed building that has served as a meat and fish market, cheese stall, sweet shop and even a public library, The Produce Hall now offers a 150-cover space complete with a range of food and drink options to try. It also has an outside terrace with the obligatory umbrellas and patio heaters.
The Hall has a lot of different food and drink to offer including; homemade pies, wood-fired pizzas, burgers, steak sandwiches, tapas, rotisserie chicken, fish & chips and more. With this much choice, there really is something for everyone! There’s also the bar that serves a constantly rotating range of beers and ales from local brewers as well as wines and spirits.
Our Manchester branch played a big part in this re-development, working alongside Medlock FRB again, our works included:
- Upgrade to the existing electrical supply.
- Modifications to the existing main LV switch panel.
- Replacement of existing LV final MCB distribution boards.
- General and emergency lighting.
- External lighting.
- General small power.
- Fire alarm.
- Security/CCTV installation.
- Structured wiring.
- Background music system.
- Mechanical services wiring.
- Electrical testing.
“Working alongside Medlock and Mowbray Design Architects again on this exciting project was brilliant, seeing the hall transform from an old market hall to a stunning food hall has been amazing.” – Contracts Manager.
We currently have more on-going projects with Medlock and hope to have many more to follow in 2019.
