Barlows Foundation Inaugural Golf Day Raises £5,300 for Local Charities
Great Success
Earlier this year, the Barlows Foundation held its first-ever Charity Golf Day, and we are happy to share that the event was a resounding success, raising an impressive £5,300 for two deserving causes.
The funds were divided between:
- £2,000 for the Swan End of Life Care Appeal, which supports patients and families during the most challenging times of their lives.
- £3,300 for the Cancer Research Fund of Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity, helping to advance the fight against cancer and improve care for patients
A Day to Remember
The golf day brought together participants, supporters, and volunteers for a wonderful cause. Their collective efforts and generosity helped us surpass our fundraising goals, showing the power of community and teamwork.
At the cheque presentation, we were honored to meet members of the palliative care team, whose dedication and compassion make an incredible difference in the lives of patients and families. Hearing about their work reminded us of the profound impact that initiatives like these can have.
Thank You
A big thank you to everyone who played, volunteered, or supported the day in any way – we couldn’t have done it without you. Without your kindness and involvement are events like this would not happen.
The success of the event has inspired us to make the Charity Golf Day an annual tradition. We look forward to hosting more events that bring people together while making a tangible impact in our local community.
