Our Fire and Security team recently had the opportunity to demonstrate the versatility of a CCTV system when completing an installation project at a domestic property.
About The Install
With the lambing season approaching, our client required a solution to improve the monitoring and security in their lambing pen to help streamline their operations. Our Barlows Fire and Security team designed and installed an innovative system with the aim of fulfilling the client’s requirements, achieving increased flexibility and peace of mind. This system surpasses standard surveillance setups by utilising state-of-the-art technology, providing remote access and real-time surveillance capabilities. Our client can now effortlessly oversee their lambing pen from anywhere and at any time using their smartphone. This seamless accessibility enables them to promptly address any issues or concerns, thereby optimising their lambing process and ensuring the welfare of their flock.
Our Involvement
Our Engineers worked efficiently to get this project completed prior to the lambing season ensuring the customer was able to keep an eye over the expectant ewes.
The installed system comprises of
- 1X High-definition Hikvision recorder situated in the main house for live view data recording
- 1X High-definition pan tilt zoom (PTZ) with night vision allowing for full viewing of all the pens in the shed
- 1X Highspeed wireless network link from the shed back to the house
- Smartphone access to allow live view, playback and PTZ control from anywhere in the world
