Barlows (UK) Ltd have been appointed to carry out the electrical installation condition report and portable appliance testing at luxury country hotel, spa and golf resort Carden Park for a number of years. Our electrical testing and compliance department ensure that the hotel remains compliant with current legislation by undertaking the testing of around 3000 appliances annually. Our skilled operatives work closely with the client to ensure that there is minimum disruption to the hotel and its guests.
The 5 yearly fixed wiring test of such a prestigious venue is no mean feat but Barlows team of highly-qualified inspection and testing professionals carried out all necessary work in the hotel’s 196 rooms, kitchen and bars/restaurants, spa and leisure areas. The testing did not interfere with the busy staff going about their work or with visitors to the hotel who are seeking to enjoy a relaxing break in this peaceful location. At the end of the project the client was presented with a detailed 680 page report.
The portable appliance testing is carried out annually in all areas of the hotel. Barlow’s operatives coordinate carefully with Carden Park and enter each room whilst vacant and promptly test & discretely label each appliance. Any appliances which fail the test are reported to the client and either repaired or removed.
